SYNCEDとは、ナノテクノロジーが文明の基盤となった近未来の世界を舞台したTPSのゲームです。
大崩壊（Collapse）と呼ばれる大厄災の後、ナノマシンが暴走し、ナノと呼ばれるそれらが野蛮な捕食生物と化して荒野をさまよい、自らの繁栄のために人間を残らず捕食していくのでした。
この混沌とした世紀末の中で、ランナーと呼ばれる富を求める人々が、新世界の石油と言われている貴重なナノエネルギー物質“ナーヴァ”を求めるため、「大崩壊」の中心地であるワシントン州スネークリバーバレーに集まっています。

すべてのランナーは、目標達成のためには手段を選ばない…

強敵であるナノ・プライムを倒して"シンクロ"すると、敵だったナノがコンパニオン・ナノと呼ばれる、ランナーの武器・味方になります。
コンパニオン・ナノには、クラッシャー、ガーディアン、シアー、サプレッサーの4クラスが存在します。
各クラスのナノは、それぞれ固有の強力な能力を有しています。
また、ナノとシンクロした状態では、ナノ・リープと呼ばれる移動手段も開放されます。
武器・味方・移動、せさまざまなナノの能力を戦況に応じて使い分け、勝利を掴み取りましょう。

SYNCEDでは、チームでもソロでも楽しめるPvEモードと、チーム同士での対抗戦であるPvPモードの両モードが搭載されております。
プレイヤー自身の好みのモードで、それぞれ強化/レベルアップ要素があり、複数のゲーム体験が可能となっています。
